HH Dalai Lama message

Dear all,

I am in Delhi in a very very special teaching by HH only
100
people all the most famous western Buddhist scholars from
all around
the world (tibetan tradition) and a few layabouts like
myself who
sneaked in.

No media allowed etc.
Today HH talked long about what is really happening in
Tibet it is really sad and moving.

He made a heartfelt request that we do all we can to get
the word spread. In
many areas inc Lhasa Tibetans are under curfew and there
are
helicopters ready to shoot them if they go out.

They are being starved to death with all amenities cut off
and cannot even go out to get water or food. Many people
feel that although this teaching was
organised a while back He knew before and while
obstensiably being a
high teaching on Madyamika it is in fact a chance for him
to talk to
all the people (without media) and say what is really going
on and ask
for all these very influential people to do whatever they
can.

He recognises that not much can be done and just said again
and again
'please think' what you can do....

So this is my feeble attempt to do what i can and get the
word out...
