Shri Muniraj-ji in Interview with the Germans - Autumn 2008 Navaratri, Chilianaula
Shri Munirajji, an early and close devotee of Shri Babaji, was left as the head of the Babaji family when Babaji left His body in 1984. During the last few years of Shri Babaji's physical manifestation, He told people that Muniraj would be the guru of the West. He also told Muniraj that his work would begin when He (Babaji) left His body.
Question: In Germany a Sufi teacher, who said that in 2012 there will be a big crash, advised me to buy gold, cash, tents for hard times when we might need to adapt. He said that electricity supply will stop, and that there will be chaos in the cities. He advised me to go into nature to survive ! What is your response to this ?
Muniraj-ji: Does your teacher talk about the Maya calendar?
Q: Yes, also other systems.
Muniraj-ji: As far as I understand, things will change but nothing like a total end of the world scenario. Change is part of nature, but there won't be anything final or total. People should not worry, they should get on with their work and repeat God's name. Change is the law of nature. As in politics, within minutes someone can loose their cool with serious consequences, but this is not in our hands, therefore do not worry. With regards the financial situation which we can all see as not healthy, it’s development will concern all of us. Buying a bit of gold is not a bad idea !
Q: What about buying a house ?
Muniraj-ji: If you need one, buy one, but not as an investment.
Q: The Mahabharata war was 18 days, Babaji said the next one will be 18 seconds.
Muniraj-ji: I have just said, if the fuse goes with politicians, it can have serious consequences. No one should worry themselves sick about that. Get on with your work. Maintain good thinking, good speaking, good action. Do not forget that it is God who acts.
Q: What if one is too intense and knotted up on the way towards God ?
Muniraj-ji: In what way too serious ?
Q: So that the joie de vivre suffers
Muniraj-ji: Do not exaggerate anything. Maintain right balance in eating and drinking. Repeat the name of God and do your work. Do and die. As long as you are in a human body, make sure you are content and happy, and include those around you. Get rid of unhealthy habits. I want to thank all of you for the wonderful Gurupurnima festival you have held in Germany. This is the way you should continue to meet and spend time together. The most important thing is love.
Q: I would like to thank Shri Muniraji for being so available and accessible at all times. (All participants clap).
Muniraj-ji: Who am I anyway ?
Q: With the rising oil prices, how long will we be able to continue flying to India ?
Muniraj-ji: Don't worry whatsoever (emphatically and with a smile).
Q: About illness: is it enough to look after the body or should we also employ positive thinking and meditation ?
Muniraj-ji: The greatest in the Kali yuga is Japa. If you are ill do mercilessly japa. The best yuga there is is the kali yuga. On the external level machines take work away. Now all we need to do is a bit of japa. In other yugas it was not so easy. Now we get into a plane and in a few hours we are in Chilianaula. Everyone should remember Babaji - Babaji initiated the Mahabharata. Now He will initiate the Mahakranti - therefore we need not worry. (All laugh). Who remembers Babaji, will also be saved. (All laugh).
Q: This is about German mentality: in Germany rules are more important than people. People get abused and bullied and dumped with other people's rubbish. How should we handle that ?
Muniraj-ji: That game is nothing new. Opportunities always exist: where there is light there is darkness. Look at the elephant and the ant: from the ant, the elephant dies. Opposites always exist..... (At that moment the telephone goes and Muniraji listens into the telephone receiver. He reports that it is a person from Germany who is also asking what he should do with his money, if he should buy gold.! ‘I told him, not everything, only some’.
Q: About opposition. I often think about this, such as when we work in groups and there are a lot of projections, and where opposition so easily intensifies. How should we handle that ?
Muniraj-ji Everyone should concentrate on themselves, not on others. Everyone should sweep in front of their own door.
The interview with Muniraji ends with His statement: "Most of all, don't worry. Be happy.’.
All bow down and making pranam to Muniraj-ji.
Jai Maha Muniraj Maharaj ki Jai !!
